Say No More To The Front Drive Shaft Problems The True "Weak Link" In The E30 IX With Our driveshaft kit.

Our "Spacer" has undergone rigorous R&D on the S50IX before going into production. This kit has stood up to some of the worst abuse you could put a car through, thousands of hard miles, Track events, 1.9sec 60 foot times in the quarter mile with out having to worry about the splines one bit. We wanted to build a product that was easy to install and economical. We used computer aided design to develop the spacer before having it cut out of 6061 aluminum on a state of the art Water Jet, for perfect tolerance.

Using our kit you retain a stock driveshaft that is not lengthened to preserve ease of installation, you can literally install this product in your driveway on jack stands. No need to pull the transmission like as in the lengthened driveshaft counterpart. Also you will see no ill effects to the drive train or the drivability of the car because of vibrations from being unbalanced.

We take a stock driveshaft and make sure it is up to our specifications before the reconditioning process begins. The core driveshafts undergo lots of scrutiny before we decide if they are a suitable candidate, for the reconditioning process.

We start by examining the splines for excessive wear, If that is found we have a process to bring the splines back up to specification, If we can not recondition the splines through that process, we discard the driveshaft. We also check to make sure the drive shafts are true before the machine work starts. The front flange is then machined to except are hardware.

The kit is supplied with all Grade 8 Metric hardware, and Nylock (airplane) Nut. We also include a special life time grease and new OEM orings to help prevent water and dirt from entering the transfer output to help maintain the splines for the rest of your vehicles life.
